just
remove the concentration % dmg bonus
increase hammers synergies from 14% to 20%
this will leave him with around 4-5k hammer dmg with top end gear
enough to steamroll p1

Sekscaliber, your posts are always op!
You guys, if we increase monster magic resist, it would really mess up other magic characters. I kind of think leaving hammers is ok? What about bringing some others up a little?
I think some points about adjusting Concentration could be really cool. What if the synergies for hammers did less, but Conc now does effect other magic spells like bones? Everyone is happy? ![]()
My thoughts:
1: Rework synergies to reduce skill points needed to fully synergize.
2: Leave damage as is with full synergies, BUT introduce .75 to 1 second hard casting delay.
3: (possibly) Introduce more magic immune monsters.
This will eliminate the ability for hammerdins to cast a huge hammer tornado of death and allow for more versatile builds.
My suggestion was remove synergies nothing about adding magic immune
I donât know why it seems to be so rare no one just simply states hammers should become fire or lightning or cold damage. I mean the literal problem is that magic immune creatures are so rare, they donât have to deal with immunities. So the simple fix is to make them have to deal with immunities.
Why overcomplicate things?
No itâs not
The problem is exactly the opposite
The other immunities are too prevalent
Raising the amount of magic immune monsters would lower the amount of currently elemental immune monsters. Which would be a buff for everything but magic. Thatâs not really being asked for. So it would be better to simply change the damage on hammers to fire or something, imo. It would be a more precise and streamlined fix; without shaking up the meta further.
You want to make entire game more difficult based on one broken build? What about other builds??
Lets take a moment to realize that D2R is but one game among many! If ya donât like it, move on.
I have played bonemancers to finish the game about five times.
They were always scrapped for not being particularily fun, because they donât deal enough damage, require 100 skillpoints and pretty optimal gear to be fun and viable to use in Hell â and meet a brick wall when meeting magic immunes.
They canât MF worth anything compared to sorceress, their Poison Nova cousin, or hammerdins.
A nerf to hammerdin simply cannot mean magic immunity: Thatâll decimate the already tiny sliver of chance anyone will enjoy bonemancers again.
Bonemancers already need some love, like reducing synergies to 2 synergies per spell instead of 5, and then still depend on nothing in the game gaining more magic resistance or magic immunity to become interesting.
Best way how to nerf it would be to lower dmg increse above level 20 on skill itself.
Hammers or whatever else donât need to get nerfed.
I would propose to ânerfâ some community members from posting their braindead ideas.
If hammer dmg effects on undead or demon only like holybolt, I wonder what people would response
I thought about discussing your changes, but you are already in: âMy idea is great and you are all ignorantâ mode, so Iâll cut it short and say: âYour idea is badâ without further explanation, because you donât want to hear it anyway.
They would respec to FoH and never touch hammers again.
Whatâs the obsession with people saying that if you want something to improve and be the best version it can be, to reach its potential⌠you donât like the it lol
When you donât like something you want it removed
When you like something you want it improved
Maybe removing Piercing from Blessed hammers will definetely nerf him, while being untouched for PvP.
Every hammer once hits monster it disapears. Massive AoE nerf, while dmg can be left high as is.
Personally I think its just stupid that all he needs is +skills to have high dmg. No weapon dependancy. Cheap Spirits good to go.
Yeah obviously quote the part where I say heâs ignorant and purposefully leave out the pretty strong explaination of why heâs ignorant lol
Purists level of disingenuousness knows no bound
