As title says it.
A damned BOT is spamming the Trade channel… so even though I play solo in a game… I keep seeing that spam. Not enough that they spam the lobby, and/or join random games… now you see them in private games as well.
Blizzard… WTF! You are making it very hard to enjoy the game…
Yeah, was annoying me too. Go into trade then /channel leave to quit trade channel. Worked for me. I was sick of the spam and had no idea how to work the chat stuff
If your ignore list isn’t full, you can ignore them while in-game by pressing Enter to chat and then Right Click their name and select “Block”.
/channel leave Trade
Capital T in the word Trade, it matters. Do this every new game u create or join, yes it’s annoying but this is the only way right now
Wait until they personally spam you via Whisper just like before. Won’t be long before the bots will be able to do so.
I tried that, didn’t work. The chat told me “XYZ is now ignored”… but then not 1 minute later he send another Trade message which still showed up.
What worked was what someone else on the forums here suggested… report him for spam. The moment I did that all his messages finally vanished… and I didn’t see anything more from him too.
