I see a lot of people saying to use something like Enigma, or HOTO & other gear. Do you just have to do multiple runs to get this special gear, or is there a place you can get it?

You will need to find or trade for certain runes to create these items. Yes it will take many many many hours of your time to find these runes. Grind until you can’t stand it, then grind some more until you feel like chewing your own arm off, and then you might see 1 of the runes you need.

Basically, for example Enigma, is a runeword item. So you need to find a certain gray/white item and then add the exact amount of sockets to it and then add the correct runes in a specific order to create the item (in this instance certain chest pieces like a Mage Plate and want to get exactly 3 sockets and then add in this order Jah Ith Ber) . Your best bet is to Google search runwords d2r and it will go more into detail for many items you can make. But Enigma definitely will take one of the most, if not the most, time to farm as it has some very high runes in it.
