Whats the best way to beat Duriel with Sorceress, and if I need the Act 2 merc, which one do I get and what should be geared for them against Duriel to protect the Sorceress

I tried static against mobs of creatures, I didn’t see anything happen unless I’m using it incorrectly?
You have to stand really close when you don’t have many points in it but it does %health damage and you can bring bosses down very quickly so you can finish them off with any other attack

Use teleport. Set custom hot keys. I use f for teleport, g for main attack, and c for static field. You will take some hard hits as you static him down but with teleport and fire ball you don’t have to even get touched.
Shop a staff with +3 blaze, and make Leaf RW in it.

- shop a staff with 2sockets and +2/3 blaze and make a leaf out of it

- do tomB runs until you are level 24 and get your lvl 24 skill. Blizzard or meteor can be easily cast and run
As a solo playing sorc, you absolutely need a meat shield. A2 merc is still the best but later on A5 merc can be nearly as useful… prayer is the best early a2 merc but holy freeze will be better. Depending on your level, you may need to cheese duriel by chugging lots of pots to yourself and merc, plus lots of going back to town to either reset or revive your merc. Static is pretty essential against most bosses but as mentioned low static means you gotta stand real close.

Normal and Nightmare are very easy with fireball skills. In Hell, you just add some static field.
