Easy, just make the inmunity break automatically = 90 and NO affectd by conviction, facets, cold mastery and any other -resistence affixes
So there is no problem, there is no immunity but the balance is maintained
this is actually pretty good, it doesn’t reward people for using a crutch and it doesn’t take away from people who build appropriately
I am not against the idea of having no immunities so every character/build can at least hit everything. The problem is how its implemented. Its the cold mastery/conviction and -resists stacking and making everything laughable.

You cant have your cake and eat it too. No immunities, but high resist and little damage is still not immunities.
Going current charm route there is zero end game and power creep every class/build can walk through /p8 and end game is pointless. Farming is pointless.
Two extremes, with no middle ground unless you accept immunities and the old way with charms removed. There are no other options
90 res makes it so they’re not worth bothering with if you want efficiency
might as well keep them immune if you’re not gonna allow people to lower res further.
I’m ok with allowing infy and facets with a nerf to cold mastery say 1/5 effect on sunder mobs.
I hate the idea of these charms, but if they really just NEED to do it for all the casuals then this is how it should happen
