I think that’s a fair offer. A lot of people won’t accept lower rune offers unless they are profiting
7ists seem to be the sweet spot for most people, most don’t see to accept lower because they know they can get 7 elsewhere

It takes 8 ISTs to make 1 OHM so price should be around 7 ISTs
for a general rule of thumb i find any rune from MAL upwards until BER breaks into 1.5 of the rune just below it. once you hit BER it gets wierd since the rune ontop of it is worth less than the BER and the runes ontop of JAH are worth even less lol.
It’s cube ratio (2:1) from Gul up to Lo. Nobody is going to cube 2 x Los into a Sur.
Right now Ber/Jah are desired by the mass player base as their wealth builds up and they are trying to make end-game rune words. By extension Ber increases, Sur goes along for the ride but Lo is lagging behind now.
As for the issue with buying higher runes with just Ist or lower runes, it takes way more space and one can’t even cube up Ists into Guls without losing some value so usually it takes more Ists to make it attractive to HR sellers to trade down (unless they need the change to buy cheaper stuff).
