(Since Blizz forums are fg r*d I have to post here instead of the Ressurected general discussion because I don’t own the game yet)
Remember people saying it was kind of “meh” when it first came out. Just wondering what people’s impression of it now is, and if it’s worth the $40 price tag if anything for the updated graphical fidelity or should I just stick to the original?
They put it on sale from time to time. I bought it two weeks before Season 3 started…it has some nice QoL updates, obviously a bigger active player base, but they also use the Diablo 3 patching approach → don’t try to balance things, just make sh1t stronger.
Mosaic - Asn is not just very much very op, but also crashing games with all of her animations.
If you like diablo 2 a lot and you wanna use new op runewords or just make your insight in a Bow, buy the game once it is on sale.
I think that the current state of the game, makes the game much easier than 1.14…because well, they buffed a lot of things.

Not worth $40, but ok at sub-$15 or so (last sales were 67% off–so $13.33 plus Internet sales tax, total about $14.25).
I agree with the previous posts… Only worth it at a 67% off sale price. The game dies faster than legacy IMO. ladder resets only last 3-4 days tops before everything goes to crap, and then everyone quits for the rest of the season. It’s losing a lot of it’s player base.
