I already explained the skill on previous thread…
But I will share how I was able to REALIZE this skill since it is practically the same as exploding arrow but is a pure retranslation…
The factors that have me fully invested on this suggested retranslation are that of both what I will describe as “Unforseen Symmetry” and “Broken or Stretched Symmetry”
I described how I stumbled upon a clue that lead me to the symmetry that triggered my realization of “Fast Missile” on previous thread.
But I assert that because the idea both follows symmetrical rule and breaks symmetrical rule that it establishes the legitimacy and viability of the idea.
In order to gracefully guide you to this perspective, I have to clarify a tricky point in the game design that is difficult to wrap one’s mind around as to why it breaks classification guidelines, and that skill is “Enchant” of the Sorceress.
If we consult the 9 hero circle we can see that the sorceress is well outside the realm of support, so how does she end up with a skill: Enchant that is so apparently supportive?

This is because when one actually sits down and analyzes the skill Enchant, they find that it more accurately falls under the classification of Dependency, but as it so rightfully should since the conceptual trinity is Soloist, Support Dependant.
There are a number of factors and reasons why Enchant would not be and is not support classified. First of all, it is a single target buff. Second of all, it is self sacrificial due to the amount of mana that it costs and knowing that mana shield is the sorceress’ primary and critical method of defense. Third of all, (and this drives the nail home) is that it’s too effective and powerful to be supportive. Therefore the proper term here would be “empowerment” and to the point that it exits support classification and enters on to a pedestal of “MVP” classification but more technically expressed as “self dependency”.
We can observe this situation with certain skills even in modern day RPGs. Take Dota 2’s “Veil of Discord” item for example. It casts a debuff on a group of enemies that could end up highly benefitting the team. It seems to have every reason of being a support item, yet, you will not find the item under support items, rather, artifacts.
This is the same reason why Necromancer Curses do not fall under support classification, but once again it would best be described as empowerment, mvp, and self dependency.
The Amazon skill “Fast Missile” SHOULD classify as support however… even though fast missile would be symmetrical to the position and function of Enchant in the overall game design. But how does “Fast Missile” classify as support when also not positioned in the realm of support classification according to the 9 hero circle? As you saw, the javazon falls under support, but the bowazon does not. The javazon may fall under support due to the bold leadership qualities (also including being partially in the front lines) comparable to the Paladin and Barbarian. Slow missile could be part of this too. But the way that “Fast Missile” of the bowazon would qualify as being support classified is through “Legitimate Broken Symmetry”
You see, the indication of the viability and legitimacy of a Vision/Realization is most effectively determined by the factors of both Symmetry AND Broken Symmetry.
