at this point, i’m getting discouraged, i don’t know if its because my lvl is too low for hell act 5 but my poor sorceress can’t survive the crytalline passage, i guess screw this game and lets go back to be bored in wow till next year if they ever make a new patch
Are you wearing a Stealth (runeword) body armor? I’m assuming you’re a sorc. Have you considered Smoke runeword? Also a Lore helm.
Boost your resists and play a dual element build, cold sorceress will have a very hard time in act 5.
That said you can pretty much skip everything with sorceress thx to teleport.
You should. This game isn’t for you if you surrender on one of the easiest classes possible. WoW is more forgiving to bad players.
Sorc is actually difficult if you have no idea what you’re doing and don’t even know what runewords are. You’re just used to knowing a lot about the game.

i have smoke, my resis are capped and a bit over, i respecced a lot and play orb/firewall for now since its what i prefer on that toon, i don’t know whats so bad in this particular place
Crystalline Passage and especially frozen river are tough. What level are you? You may want to kill NM Baal a bunch until you’re level 65ish, even 70. Most of the time when someone is stuck, it’s due to level. You’d be surprised how much a few levels can matter.
Sigh…. Souls. Souls are killing you. Relog if you see ghosts shooting lightning. Try again. You want those slow skeletons and yetis. The souls and harpies are rough to avoid. Tele and don’t stop till you find Anya. There. More helpful? You could use google to find out some hints ya know.
Also helps to pit stop a few portals in case you die. Just need it once after all. Once and never ever return. It sucks to be there.
haha, given my sorc is lvl 77, i guess i’ll have to go back in lower lvl stuff and try to upgrade my gear and see what i can do

Do you have an Insight polearm on an Act 2 merc?
What is your FCR at?
You want at a minimum the 63 breakpoint thou preferrably you want the 105.
At the 105 it is near impossible for a mob to catch you when you are teleporting like a lunatic.
The crystalline passage is a rough spot especially if you get Moon Lords. You are better off just tele blazing through

i do, i gave him tal rasha helm and treachery, i use potions and rejuv on him but thats not enough

Also yeah this. You’re far enough to where you can farm easy spots for any item in the game. You can moat trick hell meph and easily kill him. You can learn how to find him in like 30 seconds. Durance maps follow easy patterns. You can also farm ancient tunnels in the Lost City in Act 2.

The only reason you should be in there is to go through the frozen river quest. What else would you even be doing in there?

Yeah definitely blaze through these spots in act 5 like crystalline and frozen river. They are very hard to manage for anyone even with decent gear.
