im not sure how to make one. cause i cant get in to arrange stuff to delete. and there is no new options in lobby to create for ladder.

I don’t wan’t to delete chars…
When you are in character selection screen, you see three different symbols under where you type your character name. Click on the Ladder icon (Must be green to enable Ladder.)
Yeah, if you have 20 characters already created, you have to delete some.
Why?
Because apparently Blizzard is extremely incompetent right now.
In the old Diablo 2, you could have an unlimited number of characters due to the fact that all you needed was a CD key to play, and creating new accounts was free. So you would just make a new, free, account. Boom. Easy. Unlimited character slots. Unlimited storage space. Yeah, it can be a bit of a hassle, but it’s infinitely better than what we have now, which is an arbitrary 20 character slot cap, and new accounts are most definitely NOT free.
I just set up for Ladder, and found that I only had four open slots. I rearranged some stuff, deleted a mule, and now have five slots.
That’s it. Five slots. For a new season. And once the season’s done, I’ll have even less space. And honestly, I probably won’t even make it through the season before I get frustrated on the lack of space and just move on to other games again.
This should be an easy fix for them.
They can give us each something like 50 character slots.
They could give us a bonus 20 slots per ladder.
They could give us more shared tabs.
They could give us a currency tab.
They could give us an in-game shop like Path of Exile’s, with the option to buy additional character slots, shared tabs, or even currency tabs for a reasonable price, such as $1/slot or tab, and maybe something like $3 for the currency tab.
It would be a huge money-making opportunity for them. Character slots, stash tabs, currency tabs, and in-game pets. Maybe even additional character skins. Weapon auras. Footprints. Auras. Wings. Etc. That stuff has a huge return on investment.

Ladder being part of the 20 character cap is shameful, and as I software dev myself you better believe I’d be the first in line to say sorry for such a disrespectful move on the part of (probably) management. It is completely unacceptable to give your users the option of deleting their data or rebuying the same product to duplicate service.
I don’t love micro transactions, but if you really want to make the case that more DB storage costs money (it does) then you better be offering a FEATURE to account for that (pay as you go character slots).
The decision to put ladder characters in the same pool as everything else is disgusting. Do better Blizzard.

they could sell slots you know… to make our lives better and make their pockets better also.

if they do that then they’ll make more than $39.99 per customer. and infinite potential revenue is not okay.
