I have D2 Resurrected. I have noticed that the latest patch 2.3 is available. However, when I update the game using the update in settings, I don’t get this patch. What do I need to do in order to get the latest patch?
If you can launch the game through the Battle.net app, you have the latest version.
Mine is up to date, the reported version in the launcher is 1.1.67554 (version 2.3.1)
I have version: 1.1.67554 . I don’t know how to load with battle.net.app. I simply click on the d2 resurrected icon or go to D2exe.
I don’t think the game would launch and let you play if you didn’t have the most updated patch. You should have the blizzard launcher as I don’t think you would be able to play D2R without it anyways. Yes even though you just click on your shortcut or go into the actual folder, it still uses your launcher.
Although, I am confused how the launcher doesn’t open when you use the short cut. I use the short cut and it opens up the launcher first for me then I click play in the launcher.
edit: Unless you are playing offline then I am not sure how that opens but I would assume the same way.
