How do i download and install the og d2?

Can someone help me? I dont want to play d2r if its gonna change but i dont know how to legally download and play d2 og version on bnet. Thank you

If you own the og key codes with blizz, you can go on your account on web, under your games at bottom you will see the dowload link for og diablo 2 and xpac.

If you are looking to play the OG D2 on Battle.net 1.0, you can purchase both the original D2 and the LoD expansion and install them using the instructions below.

Here are the links to the games on the Blizzard shop:

LoD: https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/diablo-ii-lord-of-destruction

To install, you would download them from your Games & Subscriptions section inside your Account Management page. You would then get the two CD keys that were assigned to your account. They are located on the same page as the download link to each client. You would copy these keys and paste them into the installer windows when prompted to do so. Once done, you can play the OG D2 at your leisure.

Remember though, that unlike D2R, you cannot create games fast or use a VPN. And it is highly recommended that if you do not have an authenticator on your account that you attach one to make your account more secure.
