How can ladder even exist on console without chat and lobbies?

We’re supposed to work trades here? Seriously?

You press the buttons and stuff happens. It’s pretty wild. You should try it.

So you’ve played ladder with no server chat and game creation before?

Cool story douche bag.

Well that escalated quickly.

Don’t throw stones in a glass house.

Oh how nice of you to try and ruin someone’s career.

Helping the community.

WHY?

Allow female characters to show their bare chests

I question the moral character of anyone who responded to this topic with anything but NO!

The female body is beautiful but honoring that beauty is not what’s going on here. This is just creepy.

:expressionless:

While I understand that raising children is stressful, it is not an excuse to vent that stress here. To be honest a little trash talk is fine too if the intent is to poke and not slice.

I’d expect a father of 3 to be somewhat of a role model to younger gamers. I am by no means perfect but I do post a lot of helpful information. Feel free to find them.

There is a give and take to things. Always give more.

Not to me, you should watch your fat mouth. You speak for no one but your dumb self, silly little noob.

All you do is harass people. How has no mod deactivated your account yet? lol

While I agree with you, he’s at least correct this time. Coffin enjoys trying to tell others how wrong they are. Just look at the humongous post he just left trying to do just that? The guy has got way too much time on his hands and is likely one of those guys that thinks because maybe he has some education now that he knows everything.

I don’t know, looking through Xermon’s posts he’s really the last person to be talking about anyone trolling … It’s really shocking he hasn’t had his account suspended for how toxic his posts are.

I don’t agree with everything Coffin says, but there’s nothing wrong with having a well thought out response to a post or comment, weather you agree with it or not.

He has a lot of excellent points in that humongous reply above lol.

has ladder started??

Excellent points or not, who else but a madman would do all that forum post searching just to call out someone else? I could do the same thing against him, quoting all the garbage I have seen him spew at others if I really wanted but what’s the point other than to be petty. He may not curse directly at people or flat out call them names but he spends an inordinate amount of time calling out others. His actions are the definition of hypocrisy.

If blizzard starts ladder before implementing chat and lobby im not even bothered to play it.

I’ll agree to disagree. If you click someone’s name, you can just see everything they’ve posted. You don’t have to search the forums at all. And Coffin was just making a point. The only people I’ve really seen Coffin “troll” are people with an attitude, other people trolling, or people throwing tantrums and being toxic. Sometimes people need a taste of their own medicine to see how unpleasant it is being on the receiving end. Maybe make people think twice before their next post.

I’ve been put in my place too, we all need that sometimes lol.

You make a sound point in that there is a hypocracy when I leave “trollish” posts. If you can even call it that fairly.

The difference is that I am not truly seeking to cause mental distress for my own amusement. It’s holding a mirror up to ideas that are absurd with the same level of absurdity.

If you hold your judgement and examine where, when, and how I post to topics; you can see what it’s for.

In what way should I use my knowledge and experience that will apease your requirements of educated behavior?

It’s not my job to make myself loved by all. To display grace in every post. Or to conform to ideas that are commonly used by people.

It should be quite clear now what type of peope have issue with my posts.

It should be clear to all those I respect here what type of peope they are.

  • Honest
  • Thoughtful
  • Constructive
  • Helpful
  • Resilient

Where I will show up. Types of posts.

  • Complaining (Negative)
  • Incorrect (Negative)
  • Exploitive (Negative)
  • Manipulative (Negative)
  • Questions (Positive)
  • New Ideas (Positive)
  • Seeking Help (Positive)
  • Bugs (Positive)

I don’t enjoy it. I think it’s required to allow the good information to rise and bad information to fall.

That’s a bullseye Griswald. It’s why I respect you and enjoy reading your posts that have nothing to do with me.

I don’t want loyal accolytes. Just people in the forum who have the above qualities.

They have to be this large to answer all the things other people bring up. As for the massive quoting here? It was needed to show a pattern of abusive and ignorant posts beyond a doubt. A few would look like “mud slinging”. I could have put more in.

I have as well. Please don’t hesitate to question my posts. Just know I will adress all points. All claims. All ideas.

So much this ^ If Blizzard staff, mods, community managers, etc are going to read feedback,

They are 100% going to ignore the angry/threatening/harassing posts, which sadly is a majority of posts in this forum..

If people would just calmly report a bug, ask a question, make a post etc without being so emotional, aggressive, or angry right off the bat. I mean I get it, we WANT the games we play and spend money on to be perfect, but there’s a level of awareness I think many people lack when they ask something or post in these forums ( or just online in general. )

Too many people are too comfortable with that level of " well I can say and do what ever I want behind the keyboard" they don’t think rationally or care, and then when they get called out, they’re the “victim”.

No one’s perfect, no one’s telling anyone they have to be, it’d just be nice if more people THOUGHT before posting something. It’s okay to be wrong ( I am all the time :joy: ) or receive a response that challenges what you think is “right” and might make you see something from a different point of view.

Yes, of course I know that you can see someone’s activity by clicking on their user name. But you also can’t directly quote like 20 replies for that one person without going to quite a bit of extra work. While the guy Coffin replied to obviously started the trash talking and deserved it, it didn’t take nearly 20 quoted replies for him to make a point. That’s overkill and only something a person trying to make an example of another would bother doing. It is behavior that is done by someone who wants to be right regardless if there is even a need. Some one say that once person A insults Person B, that Person B should be the bigger man and either let it slide or make a simple disagreeing reply, not spend extra time “slinging mud” as he put it because that is literally all it was. It wasn’t to correct some bad game info or offer knowledge but an emotional response, nothing more. It was not a well thought out response as you suggested. He was attacked and tried to attack better in reply.

There’s the thing though. Just in this thread alone, among others, you aren’t holding a mirror up to ideas. You were attacked and replied in kind. It was mud slinging just as you mentioned, just to a bigger degree.

I don’t see how you are using educated behavior or knowledge simply by insulting people. In fact, you try to mask it by making these huge diatribes. Yes it’s not your job to make yourself loved by all but guess what, it’s also not your job to call out others yet that is what you spend most of your replies doing. It’s the minority of your posts that actually offer any game insight or wisdom. You even stated yourself that in half of the threads you are active in are negative ones. Well, to be fair, I have evidenced you being more helpful as of late, so good on your for the improvement.

We already had a slight disagreement if you don’t recall. You probably don’t because you disagree with so many people you likely can’t keep track of them. I even mentioned you should get the last word in because I know it’s necessary for you and as predicted you did just that. I am quite sure you will do the same for this reply as well. You can’t help yourself, that much is clear. It’s easy to see for most too considering you’re the last person to reply in many of the threads I have seen. Ever wonder why the discussion stops? Others know why.

You could try trading here on the console forum, seems like mixed results though.

Your best options are going to be discord servers, Reddit, third party trading websites. On xbox you can also use the LFG function. Negotiate outside game and trade, its not ideal for some people but its not entirely awful either.

Or you could try the very helpful, constructive and intelligent suggestion of just pressing buttons lol.

I will reply where and when I please just like everyone else.

The idea that in order to post here I must pass through the filter of Dook23 and Scroogen is laughable.

You spend more time on how I post and ignoring the most basic concept of where things started.

It’s like before. The “best” stuff you guys write is just complaints about my comment on simplistic ideas a child can understand.

How can ladder even exist on console without chat and lobbies?

This is what you guys think a functional forum should be full of?

Just complaining, knee jerk reactions. Screaming into the void of the internet?

Everyone else can tell what this is.

Step 1. I want!
Step 2. I complain!
Step 3. Other people give me social validation!
Step4. Repeat.

You’re so annoyed that I’ll point out where the problems are. Where people are wrong. That I will hold you to account if you say something in the past. If you detract from sane topics. If you post false information. If your goals are self serving and deceptive.

I can and will see it.

Perhaps you just liked when you could say anything and have it pass as valuable.

I’m sure not impressed with how you “help” Dook23 (Scroogen. at least he’s reasonable and helps)
