In Nightmare with cube. Upon conversation with Cain, scroll does not delete.
I have a feeling it’s how it has always been.
You already have the Cube so you have progressed past the scroll quest automatically but you can still loot the scroll but cain doesn’t react to it.
Today, I discovered the same, but it gets deleted while entering Act III
