Homunculus socket issue

Hello Blizzard Support,

I would like to report a possible bug related to socketing a unique item in Diablo II: Resurrected. I attempted to use the Larzuk quest reward to add sockets to the unique Necromancer shield, Homunculus. According to the item rules, Homunculus should always receive 2 sockets when socketed by Larzuk. However, in my case, only 1 socket was added.

This seems inconsistent with the expected behavior and may indicate a bug. Could you please investigate this issue and confirm whether it is a known problem? If possible, I would also appreciate guidance on whether there is a fix or if compensation is available.

the color of the item matters when socketing with larzuk. blue get up to 2 (50/50), yellow get 1, gold get 1, green get 1. only white items get “max sockets” which is probably what you assumed.

Uniques, Rares and Set items get 1 socket from Larzuk - if they can have sockets but got none yet.

He does adds 1 or 2 sockets to a magic item with a 50:50 chance.

White items always get the maximum sockets possible.
