When using Fist of Heaven or self casting Holy Bolt, I watch the holy bolts go through enemies but only register a “hit” where the mob looses life about 25% of the time.
I tested this on packs of fallen in NM Act1 where tons of holy bolts shoot out, and I just don’t see the damage when hovering over the fallen that the holy bolts go through. I should note that I was also using Conviction aura.
