Seriously something is very wrong! Been grinding for 7-8 hours a day since launch - cows, mepho , sanctuary , countess, pit , eldritch , shenk , pindel. The highest runes i got are 2 um.
Not fun at all ! 91 level sorc btw , im fast at runs and i open every chest/rock in cows

any suggestions why this is the case?
I found 2 Ohm runes, one on Meph and one on Seis in CS. Found a Mal and ist on countess and another Ist in cows. My brother found a Jah on eldritch and my friend found 2 sur runes, one on pindle and the other one I dunno. (item find something)

Well, you’re in for a surprise and a rough time. In 10 years, I only found 3 high runes. Trading and cubing is the name of the game. I got rich selling +1 charms back then.

I’ve solo farmed probably around 300+ run of cows on hell rn and i’ve found an Um…yeah screw that.

im talking brutal grind on hell mate and not even a f ist rune, i know how d2 works i played for 20 years and i still have 2 accounts on old d2 login in every 3 moths not to delete my chars , but here some brainfarts try to explain to me everything is as intended . NEVERMIND then

Well then you must be doing something differently if you are a 20 year vet. As you (should) know, kill speed plays a factor, amount of players ingame, /players command is gone and just plain old s*** RNG. The loot tables remain unchanged as far as im aware and dupes have not completely taken over yet (they will). Rune drops have been the same as it was in legacy for me in this short time.

Lv 92 sorceress here, getting very close to 93. I got 5 HR’s since d2r started and honestly I think it’s just all luck.

The HR drops are so low that I actually remember every single one of them, where they dropped and in which order.
With the way RNG works, once a ladder starts, the situations may as well be reversed. I may get 0 HRs no matter how hard I try and you may get 3-4.
Because mf and HR farming are soo unreliable and unpredictable, you see some players just choose smiter for starter character to farm torch or provide uber service because that is actually more predictable.

Ive found 3 so far, Jah, Lo and Sur…but so far Ive found 0 Shakos, Travs, Arachnids…etc all the staple drops. Normally by 3 weeks into a new season I have found 6+ of all of those. Not even finding eth socketables either…just weird RNG.
Unfortunately, all luck. Ive been playing since launch, found gg items but no luck with runes above Ist.

I’ve had better luck with trading runes than finding runes, different persons have their own set of luck lmao
what do you talking about, you are not supposed to find high runes, this is rather unlikely event to happen. with that many ppl farming 24/7 market would be floated with these and value would go down the sink. if pleb was farming runes on player 1 cows at 30 min clear speed whole economy would be ruined lol.
i farm players 8 cows under five min on sorceress and i dropped one gul rune after 50 runs
