Blizzard North died in 2005 bro … Reguardless the Blizzard community is very biased and as such the games themselfs are heavly over-rated (Note over-rated dosnt mean bad) And I think its due to misunderstanding
Example - WoW, Many people declare it the first and only great MMORPG Out there, its not, EQ and other MMORPGS came out before it and there are other great MMORPGS out there some even rivil if not beat the player numbers / subs of WoW but you dont hear them talk about it so why dos WoW Get so much hype?
Coz its realy the first MMORPG that got alot of things right about MMORPGS, Having a mini map (Something that did get added into EQ after awhile but at first it didnt excist) among other things where huge Pros
SCBW - Not the First ever E-Sport, E-Sports excisted before it, So why do ppl praise it / claim it is the first ever? Coz it put E-Sports onto the map thanks to the Internet, Granted was back during the days of Dial up (I remeber thouse days)
WC3 - Yes the Custom maps are amazing it help launch things like Dota / Dota 2 / LoL, even thouse thouse games are Toxic AF, It still was an amazing things seeing a game do that, Is its RTS Melee system amazing or great? Not Realy its over-rated, but becouse it did do something amazing and has a good/great story line ppl gotta praise every little thing about it
D2 - Put ARPGS yeah ARPGS excisted but where not super popular didnt put it on the map (I Mean Diablo 1 and a few others excisted b4 Diablo 2 …), Lets face it though it isnt perfect and has many many flaws and it aged Poorly, And D2R disapointed alot of people for alot of differnt reasons (Some of which i agree with some i do not), Reguardless it is over-hyped and over-rated, Over-rated dosnt mean its bad though,
But the community tends to over-react to just about eveything and im prob going to get blasted / hated for mentioning the above I just wanted to point out that
Yeah I Get why people are upset i get the hopes of Activision changing / blizzard changing but its kinda doubtful at this point in time bro …
game is buggy AF. simmer down. there is no excuse. they had 20 years to implement fixes already done modding community that they are partnered with and all they did was give it a new paint job. this was an obvious money grab playing on nostalgia by a company that has been losing faith in its market for years now. the ball was completely dropped. if its a server volume thing, even worse. if they couldnt parse together that there would be a load increase from 20 years ago then they are for sure done. the entire thing seems very rushed and hodge podged together. while i think PD2 is far superiors than D2R, the graphics in D2R are much nicer for my aging eyes. the majority of players right now in lobbys are over 30 in my experience and game time becomes scheduled as an adult so servers being down all the time is a large problem especially when a large number of people play online…id say majority now. its why the ladder was invented. the server and the game are the same thing homie. they are part of the game so if 1 isnt working then the game isnt really working as intended. i paid for something to work as it was advertised and it simply doesnt. its why almost everyone asking for a refund has got it.

Funny to see how people act when a game goes offline for a few days and has problems. i started blizzard with lost vikings and later warcraft 1 then 2 then diablo and i’m not yelling at blizzard, i’m playing another game until they fix the issue. lol people really do get mad when their diablo goes down
Not rly the fact the 20 year game is “down” everything blizzard touches get ruined. WoW/Diablo franchise etc. Ive been playing their games for years and stoped paying because of pandas for WoW and Diablo 3 sucking compared to the previous 2 games and exp. Blizzard quite obv dont care about us. meh

warcraft 1 was not even remotely mainstream when it came out and blizzard was barley known for anything other then the lost vikings back in 92.
they had barley done anything other then like 3 snes games.
diablo 1 put them on the map big time, warcraft was barley even known till diablo 1 came out and almost instantly became popular because of the demo allowing online play.
after starcraft came out they had a pretty healthy and friendly online community on there own online services. further from what i remember being one of the first company’s to allow you to make/create maps for the game which went crazy. people played sc 1 for years.
we barley had aol when all of this was going on, there was little to no advertising, and you didnt know about any thing game wise unless you got a game magazine or went to blockbuster or fredmeyers.

Little dramatic, sure D2R is having issues and the list of reasons is long. But in this case it’s more to due with crappy people ruining it than Bliazzard neglect. Albeit they had people better suited for this but hey went people get legal trouble got let them go.
they aren’t upset. no real company drops their servers 4 times in 24 hours and doesn’t boot new server.
this is horrible for a company who just remastered a game that is still on server running just fine. maybe focus on your releases not your weak asss new games your having to shove everyone on just to make another loot crate!

Because Blizzard can’t manage their own game. Why would they worry about bots? They should worry about Updates that fix game crashes and server shut downs.
