What is worth grabbing if its a white?? I know like Monarch so you can socket it with cube or Larzuk, but what else???
For yourself for Larzuk or to sell? I’d say nothing to sell, whites are easy to come by. Good bases w the right number of sockets for good rune words however you should keep.
Edit: well maybe pally shields w good all resists roll for hammerdin spirits.
iirc Mage plate you can turn in to 3os for Enigma. Outside of that I will usually grab exceptional and elite quality white names for sale because you usually get 35k off of them.

High defense elite armors, eth and non eth. (Large number of armor runewords for both char and merc)
Elite high defense 3 socket helms. (Dream)
3 and 4 socket elite Paladin shields with as close to 45 resists as you can find. (Spirit, ethereal Exile, Dream)
3 socket superior mage plates with 15% ED. (Enigma)
4 socket Ethereal elite polearms, Thresher/Giant Thresher/Great Poleaxe/Cryptic Axe ideal. (Insight, Infinity)
4 and 5 socket crystal swords. (Spirit, Call to Arms)
4 and 5 socket normal flails. (Heart of the Oak, Call to Arms)
5 and 6 socket Phase Blades, hopefully superior. (Grief, Last Wish)
Ethereal 6 socket Colossus Swords (Breath of the Dying)
Ethereal 6 socket Berserker Axe (Breath of the Dying)
5 socket Berserker Axe (Grief)
5 socket Colossus Blades, eth and non eth. (eth Death, Grief)

Keep in mind there are cube recipes to add sockets to white items, however they cannot be superior. (dumb imo, but whatever.)

1 Tal Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Topaz + Normal Body Armor = Socketed Body Armor of same type

1 Ral Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Normal Weapon = Socketed Weapon of same type

1 Ral Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Sapphire + Normal Helm = Socketed Helm of same type

1 Tal Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Ruby + Normal Shield = Socketed Shield of same type
But, it is a random chance for sockets. The chance is based upon both the max number of sockets the slot is capable of, the item type itself and the items level. So for example, the weapon slot can have a max of 6 sockets, however if you use the recipe on a weapon that can only have 4 sockets, the weapon will have a 50% chance of rolling 4 sockets. Armors have a max of 4 sockets, if you try the recipe on an armor that can only have 3 sockets (mage plate for example), it has a 50% chance of getting 3 sockets.

I mean, it’s not even that hard to find ‘most’ of the bases, so to say… but finding perfect 15ed, non eth, or eth, with OS , all in sync with ‘what ever meta flavored item/build’… that can be the tricky part.
I did just find me a 15ed 4os eth 808def DS for a merc. That was decent.

Gold if you need it. You will never know what a magic or rare item is worth until you ID it. With a white item you will know, for the most part, especially high end armors. Easy 20-30k gold a pop. I made more gold off vendoring whites ands greys than I did with magic and rares. Crazy huh?
And for fellow assasins:
3 os GT claw with +3ls and other mods like venom or weapon block.
3 os Suwayyah with same skills.
and for necros:
2 os wand with +3 bone spear and other good like spirit/decrep/revive
Also very rare for pala:
5os paladin mace with +3foh/convi can be used for CTA foh swap
Or even if they have no sockets for larzuk.
Treachery is an amazing merc armor. And it’s cheap as well.
