Help finding a Thresher base?

I’ve always played online but for once I wanted to play all characters on offline with ssf. Gotta admit, having more fun, but I can’t seem to find a Thresher base with anything I do. Tried cows about a good 100ish runs so far, nothing. Maybe bad luck, but any other ideas on where/how to get one easier/more efficient? Anything helps, thank you

Should note I have a fairly good geared sorc, hdin and javazon atm, all through hell.

try farming high denstiy areas, like you said cows, cs is also good.
else you could try farming on racks, lk would be a good place especially if you run offline with a static map. gl, may rng be with you.
also, try to run with 0 mf, that can help.

I’ve heard of the LK racks, but how exactly does that work? Just reroll my difficulties until I get a thresher (or Scythe even) in Hell? Current one I am in is dropping Holy water sprinklers every game so I wasn’t sure how that worked.

Mef racks to the left and right + chest can be good for this. A lot of people skip them.

If you play offline and do the exact same on every run you might get always the same items. Ginger Gaming made a video about it.
It’s called something like “it’s raining ber runes”, Chek it out on yt.

So if you feel like you getting always the same drop, just change the route you running. It’s pretty much possible that if you do 100s of runs on a static map that you get so consistent with the way you move your char that you end up getting always the same rng, especially if you run lk, since you don’t kill monster and only move from chest to chest.
Or just switch the map like you said.
For offline you can add a command on launch options to have your map seed randomly selected everytime you open a new game, like it does online, so you don’t need to switch the difficulty to get a new seed.

I don’t remember the command line right now, just google it.

Depending on what runeword u want to roll there are different options than thresher. Thresher and giant thresher eth are probably the best for rolling insight for ur merc if u want the fastest ias breakpoint, but for infinity i would definitely pick mancatcher in D2R cause this has the fastest ias breakpoint
