If something wrong happened with Diablo II games of any sort, then you should find your latest updates in your machine so you can restore the problem needed. If the game still cannot work fine after that, try to uninstall successfully your game so you can clean your d2 folder. Restart your PC and launch a new installation without wrong messages. (Don’t forget to set the video test option after the original game has been successfully installed)
