Hellforge Rush with Personal Loot

If I want an in game rush for forge how would that work with personal loot? Guess I’ll just have to use d2jsp for my rushes O.o Seams like it’s becoming blizz (cash grab) vs Vicarious Vision (staying pure). Personal loot shouldn’t even be a question because it doesn’t belong in this game. You want personal loot? Play single player or create private games. You don’t join pubs to expect items. You join them to level up and leach and at that point you dont deserve freebie items, you fight for it if you want it.

You could try and beat hell without a rush. If you dare.

You wouldn’t select the personal loot upon game creation then… Lmao. Nobody will be forcing it on you if it is implemented as an option.

Or you could just pay for it with items or runes prior.
Which would actually make rushes more productive because you would have an economic standard price set in place.

Forge rushes generally only benefit the person getting rushed, once in awhile you get a good rune and once in awhile the guy getting rushes takes it anyways scamming you

If it ploot was optional you could still only do hell forge rushes in ffa though

The Hellforge Quest is one of the very few cases where personal loot would actually make sense.

The way it is handled right now is really bad, because finishing the Quest with 8 people still only gives 1 rune.

Also rushing for Hellforge Quest is pretty dumb.
You are getting much more buck for your time if you simply do countess runs :woman_shrugging:

This guy is like the poster child for why the game is not working as intended. It’s great.

Bragging about the RMT site proves that it’s all about forum gold!!!this is all about your forum gold!! Personal loot hurts your bottom line! You and YouTube guy are really helping the cause for personal loot because killing the RMT game is the way to go sorry about your loses also

You and YouTube guy sell your gold before personal loot is put into the game!

How much have you made off that site and how much has YouTube guy??? This is why the big guns are against personal loot they don’t even hide the RMT site they flash it in the open lol

I think the Forge quest drops should be personal anyway. Those that don’t have the quest will get ALL of the drops that normally pop out from the Forge as if they were playing single player, that way when we’re questing we don’t have to skip the quest to run it solo later on.

You are what is wrong with online games. The audacity to promote a real money trade website on an official Blizzard forum. Wtf is even happening? This community / meta / mentality has gone so far down the toilet, it makes me sick.

There are so many players that think D2JSP is an inseparable part of the game.

If D2 only had a better in-game trading platform.

I’m thinking there is some campaigning going on in these forums by the D2JSP community to keep the game as it has been that way they can continue to proliferate. They’re scared out of their pants of anything that might circumvent their activities.

Personal loot will happen. I would say many, but really, it’s a few, will cringe. The world will go on and a vast majority of people will be thrilled.

Even with the best trade system ever, outside trading sites will be used.

I do think it will help though.

That’s how they started… They took advantage of something the original dev team forgot and never fixed. A convenient way of trading items was missing from the original game and no trade lobby spam and trade games do not count lol. Yes I was there yes I traded that way back in the good old days so I know what I’m talking about.

Then they took advantage of that platform to make some money and undermine the game in the process in a variety of way’s. I always wondered why blizz never took them down. I remember hearing a rumour that blizz got a cut off of everything they made  tin foil hat req

Oh yeah, I remember hitting up the trade channels and using eye-catching fancy ASCII borders to draw attention to my trade offers. Chat would scroll by so fast.

It’s quite simple:
Because they can’t.

Using jsp might be a violation of the user license agreement.
But that only gives Blizzard the right to take action against accounts - not against 3rd party platforms and other companies.

Breaking a user license agreement isn’t the same as breaking the law and therefore jsp is safe - at least since they decided to not offer 3rd party software anymore that might violate copyright laws or mess with Blizzards servers in an illegal way.

Omg, people seriously still do that even with higher rune drop?

Also who the hell would do the quest in group lol

Noone. But that’s only because the rune drop doesn’t scale with the player count.

I would love to do the quest together with my ladder reset teammates instead of having to split up for it every time.

True, that quest is not well designed for group play.

When I came back one reset after a long break it was totally empty not a single person in there, and nothing but robots running baal in hell chanting games in normal etc it was sad…

Never thought I would miss the trade chan spam wars but yeh it was sad to see it empty… one of the things that showed me how much the game had changed while I had been away that was.

If it had only been a way to trade items there would be nothing wrong with it I suppose, a guy here says that’s all it is now but I don’t know… I’ll never trust them though
