Hellforge dropped nothing

I just did my NM hellforge quest and it didn’t drop anything from the helforge at all. The quest completed it just had no gems or runes. When I hit the hellforge I had my character screen open and as soon as I hit it and the hammer disappeared I put my weapon back on, not sure if that somehow bugged it. Hellforge on normal worked just fine.

Just happened to me on hellforge as well… wtf is this? Smack the forge and quest completed no drops

The exact same happened to me just now on NM HF… Would be wonderful if blizzard could be so kind to tell us whether this is a bug or intentional behaviour.

not a bug, 1/64 chance that it drops nothing or something like that

I think you are referring to countess who sometimes has no rune drop, but hellforge quest has always had one rune and four gems drop (normal, 2 flawless and a perfect).

i also just did my hellforge on hell difficulty aprox. 5 min ago and it dropped absolutely nothing. which makes it more difficult to farm for runes to trade. is there anyway to fix this bug or reset the quest?

my hell forge dident drop nothing aswell and that sucks + game servers not let me in like 5 times a day and i think you need to refund peaple mony when you relece a game that not finished

i never post but i wanted to say that i just did my hell hellforge quest and absolutely nothing dropped. this has to be a bug.

Same for me, nightmare hellforge dropped nothing, no runes and no gems.
Same for the nightmare countess on my 1st killl, no runes or any other items dropped.

Same thing for me on Hell , did the hell forge Q , got the quest done but nothing dropped out from there …

I just spent 15 min slowly kiting the smith on my amazon for the forge to drop nothing on hell difficulty too. Very depressed

I just had the exact same issue. Hell difficulty Hellforge, no drops at all. It happened immediately before a server outage. Perhaps linked? I have no idea.

My understanding is that this is impossible for this quest.
