It crashed on me TWICE - solo, Assassin, Nightmare level, fighting Baal. First time killed Baal after 45 mins then it crashed. Second time 5 minutes into fighting Baal then it crashed. The two times were played at least 12 hours apart so it was different time of day and it was also after a computer shutdown. I am starting to wonder if it’s a showstopper bug for Assassins.
Has anyone made it to Hell level playing Assassin? It would be naive to think otherwise but I had to ask
I had mine close on Baal nightmare on the 1st kill
Had it close when farming Drognan’s inventory for white+teleport staff.
So i think it has nothing to do with sins nor hell , since im playing a necro in nightmare and very similar happened to me .
I was in Baal’s throne room when I got the “can’t move” bug and had to Save and Exit for my life. There might be some issue with that room.
Thanks for the replies. I finally made it…killed Baal on Nightmare. 3 times a charm. I’m glad it isnt some gamestopping bug.
Though crashes are widespread, the source seems to vary from client to client.
I only ever seem to crash after being idle for extended periods.
This is my experience too, also crashes a lot if I’m tabbed out looking something up at D2 wiki or whatever.
To answer OP, yes I’ve made it to Hell playing Assassin. It wasn’t until they launched their latest patch that crashes started to occur for me.
It’s not just assassin. I am getting crashes and disconnects on a zon frequently in NM and hell.
Never have that problem. Got crashed only first 12 hours straight or ironically by exit the game, got crashed although makes no difference. Got disconnected randomly, yes especially at weekend.
Made Assassin with Lightning Traps through till Hell almost alone.
It’s not just Assassin and not just the throne room. I was in the stony field and got booted. Logged back in and my HC Assassin had 8 health…Dam that was close.
The realm is more ‘unstable’ this week for some reason.
Level 88 assassin here. No consistent crashes.
