Has anyone noticed since update today that Hell meph and andy arnt dropping loot? Mine have been dropping 1-2 items max and andy has died without dropping a single item. But if i go run NM meph and andy they drop 4-5 things always. I cant be the only one this is happening too.

Yes, happened to me and much later got drop 3 uniques at once. It was just bad luck. Andariel was always worst drop for me, one magic item, nothing else.
Random is random my dude. Some days you’ll get a bad luck streak.
It just weird cause if i switch over to single player they always drop the max amount of loot even at P1
I am noticing this now too. I am using a level 75 blizz sorc to farm Quest Mephisto and Quest bugged Andariel.
Andariel has been dropping 2 items most of the time and not a single ring or ammy. Mephisto drops sets and uniques but they are usually Normal type and not elite. Often duplicates of set items.
I know Andariel is quest bugged because she is dropping +100 durability items and no arrows or things. It’s just weird.
I have done 250+ runs with 600% MF.

Just because there is an Element of RNG doesn’t mean it’s working correctly.
If you flip a coin 200 times and every time it lands on heads, chances are there is something wrong with the coin.

your coin analogy is bad. The better analogy of D2 item drops is rolling a million sided dice and all you cry babies want it to land on a specific side over and over. No drop in D2 is like a coin, there ain’t no 50% chance to get ANYTHING in this game.

you’re level 75 on a blizz sorc jesus lmao…you’ve barely scratched a small percentage of runs versus most dedicated MF runners. I’m level 89 with my blizz sorc as comparison…

D2 item drop RNG is NOT flipping a coin! how shallow can you be…? Zod drop rate = 1:5171!
that is rolling a dice with 5171 sides! That is just for one rune! Now throw in rates for Crown of Ages, Maras, other high runes, etc… luck isn’t on ANYONES side in this game.
so many diablo players have such an absolutely hard time understanding how RNG & statistics work, it is absolutely bafling.

Yes, level 75 because I am doing QUEST MEPHISTO maybe you don’t even understand what that means. I have a level 90+ hdin and other level 80+ characters.
250+ is an estimation and a low one because I don’t really keep track of the number of runs I have done over the entire period of playing d2r. I have don’t countless runs in other areas of the game as well. I am not ONLY running Mephisto with my sorc. I am running many areas.

do you own a car? are you familiar with consumer reports? they don’t just take 2 people who had no troubles with their land rover, they look at every data point that they can to make an overall percentage of reliability because guess what, that is how statistics work! smh…
You realize that a coin is equivalent to a 2 sided die. Meaning 1:2. The number of sides doesn’t matter if you run the simulation infinite times and only get the same number then something is wrong.

If people are complaining about a car on a forum saying that their tires keep going flat with a specific model but you don’t have this problem what is more likely:
A: The problem doesn’t effect you specifically.
B: That there is probably something wrong with the car.
Me, I would bet money that there was something wrong with the car.

It’s more like rolling a 10,000 sided die where numbers 1-9 are the extremely rare items and numbers 10-100 are the moderately rare items. Then the items you keep seeing over and over are numbers 101-8000. I fully expect to find about 38 pairs of sigons gloves for every one shako, it’s just the way the odds work out.

That doesn’t make sense unless the car you bought came with randomly inflating/deflating tires. you can go 400 runs and find nothing but garbage that is the nature of RNG.

LOL what? dude you really don’t understand statistics AT ALL. please visit consumer reports and learn how they come up with reliability metrics for cars. They aren’t going off the 15 people that complain on a forum, they go by the hundreds of data points and then determine a Toyota has 5% of drivers reporting problems versus Land Rover which has 50% of drivers reporting problems. I will ship you my statistics book from college FOR FREE, let me know where to send it to! I’m 100% being serious because you desperately need to learn. RNG was something we covered extensively in school!
