Have more than 1 terror zone active at a time

so that we get a choice if 1 zone is not ideal for a specific character.

I think one is good becase if they open more zones player will only play Terror zones. should we have new diffculty level ? "Terror zones only in every zone? Diablo2 would change dramatically to something i have seen in Diablo3 rift system.

1 hour is to long for this zones, i think 30 min is enough

You don’t just farm that one TZ active, you put it in your farming rotation if you can. Jezz people… :man_facepalming:t2:

Only if it is something like sewers. If it’s any „good“ zone it’s too short because it changes just when you get some smoothness into your runs.

Don’t tell people what to do. Everybody should be able to play however they want and get any rewards they want.

You would need at least 1 tz per player ingame

It’s coming don’t worry. Soon the whole game will be optimized 4 levels higher than you. And there will be easy to find items to allow you to wreck them all.

I hope so. Let Ber runes rain in normal. Let me have griffons and CoA by the end of nightmare. I want to be lvl 99 after clearing every terror zone once. Spawn diaclone right after I kill Hell baal, every game. Remove variable stats on items, so everything always rolls perfect.

I’m not. The devs are. The rule is, one area per hour. You’ll allready gain more xp and items.

ya and the feedback is we diasgree with the dev. unless u want people who disagree with devs to just stay quiet :p?

i’ve said this about 10-20 times now.

MOVING TERROR ZONES. AFTER CHAMP PACKS or 90% mobs cleared. TZ changes IN GAME to new zone. endless farming in one game.

Yeah you know what, I am all for this, somehow…
Waiting an hour sucks for some zones, and isnt long enough for others.

I have been logging on all day so far for a good zone, and what do I get, Lurast Bazaar. the bloody blood moor(like wtf), frigid highlands… aggravating, now I have to go away for the weekend and Im sure the next ones up will be River of flame, chaos, wsk, cows, all thje good ones LOL.
Trade off I guess, but yeah if they could roulette it a bit after you clear it 100% or something, that would be cool.

I’ve been saying it too. Terror Zones could be an awesome feature that serves lots of different player types, but right now it’s only aimed at the farmers and grinders. It should work like this:

  1. When you create a new game, the Terror Zone on creation is the one that is on the server for that hour. The Terror Zone in this game does not change with the hour change.
  2. You finish “clearing” the Terror Zone, and then a new random Terror Zone in that game becomes active. At this point you have two options. You can leave the game and create a new game, that has the current server Terror Zone for that hour, or you can go clear the new Terror Zone.
  3. After clearing the new Terror Zone, another new random Terror Zone triggers in that game (limited to a list of Terror Zones that have not yet triggered in that game). Basically, the Terror Zone in that game becomes disconnected from whatever the server is doing, so the Terror Zone only changes when the old Terror Zone is cleared.

This allows the Terror Zone feature to be used the way different players want to. The Min Max farmers and grinders who want to just play the same Terror Zone over and over will leave and create new games.

The Theorycrafter who likes to play an off meta build and thus takes longer to clear a Terror Zone doesn’t have to worry. If it takes him 80 minutes to clear a specific zone, that’s fine. The Terror Zone in his game is unaffected by what time it is on the server.

The Team Player who likes the story/roleplay aspect and likes to play with a party gets to play end game acting like a rapid reaction force to wherever the hordes of Hell are invading this time. And sometimes the Terror Zone is one his character shines in, and other times the new Terror Zone is something a different character in the party can shine in.

The Completionist gets a new goal to strive for: Clear all the Terror Zones in a single game.

slamming one hour and then switching is actually painfully boring to anyone with more than 3 brain cells. as i said yesterday watching a 98 grind, he wasn’t even happy that he would hit 99 now. so sad.

I’d say activate 3 zones at a time, and then cancel the whole sunder charm catastrophe since it is no longer needed. Any build can find at least one runnable zone from those 3 that activated.

Lol what makes you think they will play anything other than TZ in this patch? 90% will play blizzard sorc and once they get sunder charm, they will only farm TZ.

At least allow 1 area per act every 1 hour, so that even without sunder charm, a build is guaranteed to have an area with minimal immunity to his damage type.

Hey that’s a very good idea there, but more. Make it 5, 1 per act.
