Was curious to try it out but I haven’t seen anything since they disabled the feature prior to ladder release.
No word and probably won’t be unless they drop a mid-season 2.8.1 patch or something, if not then probably not till season 10 (or ever).
Try shooting PezRadar a message on X on weekdays, that’s what I tried a couple days after the WASD removal but no dice. I haven’t been able to get a reply from him about D2R stuff for quite a while now, seems I lost my (self-proclaimed) Pez summoning ability.

Dang too bad. Was looking forward to it. Felt like the feature would save some wrist discomfort with mouse directing.

It was… terribly implemented and basically unusable. You couldn’t interact with ANYTHING while holding wasd. Not the UI, not waypoints, not items, not even monsters.
They should disable Mosaic and Sunder Charms just the same.
WASD movement is great when the game is built from the ground up to have it, but when it’s shoehorned in a game like D2, it didn’t work really well. I personally struggle with arthritis myself so I play on a gamepad.

Yeah my left hand is having it’s own fits these days. Why I’ve been playing less and less games that require lots of left hand action. Used to LOVE Warframe, until playing for more than an hour had me in pain. Also have nerve damage from a wreck 8 years ago that leaves my left pinky semi functional, and the ring finger a bit numb so using ctrl/shift modifiers frustrating, and hitting q/tab a bit iffy at times these days.
Been wanting to try a MOBA mouse setup for a while now, but I haven’t had the chance to try one in person and have been worried that I wouldn’t have the thumb dexterity with my meat paws to use it well. I already have issures just using LB/RB and generally buy knock off “Elite” type controllers so I can use LB/RB on the back of the controller with my middle fingers.

I have a bad cause of all palm and sausage fingers lol. Not exactly the most dexterous person out there. Some people look like they are playing a piano using a controller, I looks like I’m trying to strangle a child.
