Grim ward difficult targeting

On PS5 I finally gave Grim Ward a try on my horker, but I have absurd difficulty casting it in monster crowded battles.

My theory goes that auto aim targets enemies instead of corpses, since I’ve had more luck casting, it while facing away from enemies, but Find Item seems to work perfectly on nearest corpse no matter enemies standing …

Anyone else had this problem or am I doing something wrong? It seems nearly useless as you need a corpse to actually make it useful in combat, but cannot land it anywhere to be effective without running around as a headless chicken button mashing…

Not that I used Grim ward ever.

As Warlock. I need corpse to use Engorge. I near to face the corpse to use it.

Just like Find Item on Barb. During Trav runs. Corpse are stacked or piled up. Barb still does the animation but nothing will be hork if I dont face the right direction.
