GPU Query - AMD Radeon HD 7800 series

Hi guys.
Minimum GPU to run D2R is an AMD Radeon HD 7850
My game wont run and when I’ve checked it says I am using an AMD Radeon HD “7800 Series”

Is this not the exact sort of card needed? Is my issue the 7800 / 7850 thing or is it something else?

Well… at least your CPU seem to support AVX according to Intels specifications.

The “7800 series” would have the right drivers to run the game. The worst you might get is lower FPS if it’s a lower end Radeon HD 7800 card. Most likely your graphics drivers are just out of date. Try updating those and see if it helps? Alternately, what version of Windows are you on?

Thanks for responding. I think you have hit the nail on the head there. My drivers are all up to date and ive not had any issues with my card before, but i have checked and i am on windows 8.1 which i assume now is my issue. will try and update that :slight_smile: thanks again

That’d be it most likely. Windows 10 is the only OS supported for Diablo II: Resurrected currently (though we’re keeping an eye on Windows 11 for all of our games.) Microsoft stopped support for the other two a while ago so we’ve shifted focus to newer Windows OS versions.

Let us know how it looks after the update, and note that you may need to update or reinstall your graphics drivers again after the upgrade to Win10.
