Not at all. I am just saying, that your GPU being at 100% usage is not a problem, IF your temp’s are fine otherwise. Being above 100% or temp’s going off the rails, is a problem. If you have a modern day GPU, they are build to be under such load, when being used. If you still have usage that high (even 10%+) just by browsing the web, you might have a problem.
Yes, any electric current produces heat, so? hence why, I said that if you temp’s are fine, it should be alright. This is well known for all sorts of chips. This is the very reason why AMD, Intel and Nvidia gives you max temp’s for your GPUand CPU under load, before it starts taking damage.
If you dont Cap FPS obviously your GPU always tries to get maximum framrate which means 100% usage, unless your CPU is bottle necking your GPU.
It’s not enough to cap FPS. You’ll still be at 100% gpu usage. You need to put power settings on adaptive

Yeah something is weird going on with GPUs. This game uses so much power and generates way to much heat. On lowered settings I am dealing with 7+ gigs of VRAM being used. Single monitor. Why is this game using so much resources? My is this game using so much power, VRAM, and generating so much heat when under task manager the GPU is only being utilized 7-10%? Something is off…
You need to start learning to cap your fps. Or find out the hard way.
Its capped at 60. Regardless this game is using a disproportionate amount of resources…
