Diablo 2 Resurrection Beta Tester I was interrupted to the point of not being able to play the game, so I looked at the system load and found that the GPU was 100%.
So, after trying everything, I switched to windowed mode and lowered the resolution, so there were fewer interruptions, but it still took 100% of the GPU load. It’s like an optimization problem.
I’m afraid my computer will break down. I even paid for the beta test, but I guess I’ll have to pass this one, and I hope the next open beta will solve this problem.
And when I went to the forum, I saw several problems with this. GTX 2000 series
There seems to be a 100% problem with the GPU. Looks like an optimization problem.
I don’t know if it’s correct to write here, but if not, please pass it on to the development department.
If the GPU is still at 100%, there is a possibility of damage to the computer, so I will request a refund.
Reply please.
Use your amd panel to do a fps limiter for D2R if your gpu heat is too high , if is not, it’s not a problem to have a GPU at 100%
100% gpu usage is not a bad thing it’s only bad if you have too high of a heat also try turning on vsync to reduce stutter if that is what you mean by interruptions. also gtx 1050 is not a 2000 series card so that’s not connected and my 1080 doesn’t have a problem. you might just be running at too high of settings 1920 x 1080 recommends a gtx 1060 so even on low it might be a bit too much. try vsync and low if still no good drop to 720p.
also i won’t say there is no chance of damage to your computer but 100% gpu usage is not alone going to damage it.
I use a gtx 760 which is a few generations older than your card, and d2:r runs just fine. My cpu is an intel 3770k.
I run it at 3480x2160 with low-medium graphics.
try this. 20 chatacters
your GPU is outdated and weak. Your CPU is not great. Zen + was OK but still underperformed in games.
My rig is 9900k (not the newest CPU but still modern) and 3070 ti. I have 0 problems at all graphically at 1440p.
locking your framerate is how you throttle your gpu.
most games fresh off the press today start with unlocked/uncapped frames. this basically tells the gpu to ‘run as fast as you can as many fames as you can’. this is why you see frame rates of like 800 etc…
resolution just makes less things to render each frame.
