i think is time this classic jewel of a game have is classic patch. a vanilla game suppose too also have is vanilla gameplay , the same with vanilla wow that come with is vanilla patch , i want to have my class identity back and my class fulfill is role

Having a blast with all 3 new spec … FoH pally, ES melee sorc without mana burn that burn 4 k in 1 hit, and singer barb that does slightly but still not enoug dmg

no one force you too play , is still wierd to make a remaster of a vanilla game but not having is prime vanilla gameplay , yes i play a lot of 1.09 and is the prime era of this game , this 2,4 version is dead same with the forum
this game suppose to come with a classic version of 1.05,or 6 and a lod of 1.09 , not 1,14 and 2,4 at least with some option to play what he like or having time of this game , not be force to play a down the hill version
yeah 1.09 was the best time for d2, not horrendous OP runewords and things like that

Version 1.09 with the current big stash and stash tabs would be amazing.
I would only wish for experience to be reduced as it was far too easy to get to lvl 99.
Cows gave too much exp and there was no exp area limit meaning that you could just leech in a corner of a map and still gain exp when others kill in that map.
player leech a lot more safe afk in baal room vs cow level , cow come from everwhere also every game you need to get the leg mean time consuming , i just remeber that era everyone love the game and also pvp , today this just feel broken and so unbalance plague with bot is just a bad experience for lod and also classic
AFAIK there was someone in the Phrozen Keep working on a 1.09 mod for D2R, not sure if they’re still working on it though.
I don’t want Blizz to bother with an official 1.09 version though, the few resources left working on D2R should be spent improving the lobby and game list and other improvements like unique/set rebalancing and QoL updates, porting 1.09 to D2R would take a massive amount of work to get all the nuances right for a minority of people that want it.
You still have original D2 to play 1.09 in, whether in single player or playing on that one 1.09 server.
Optional 1.09 mode would be AMAZING, yes please!
But i gotta admit that 2.4 made up for alot 1.10 stuff i disliked.
Nah, bring back the original version that everyone loved. I want necromancers spamming bonewalls to generate item drops. I want no immunities or synnergies. I want colored and animated text and unfettered duping methods where items have no unique ids. No runewords or anything like that. I wanna spam frozen orb over and over and over. Full screen of hydras are waiting for you.

Why would they give us an outdated patch long before D2R existed? They would have to reprogram alot to achieve nothing. Makes no sense.
However, I do think they should look at previous patches, particularly .07, .08, .09 .10. Study what the patches brought to the table and create a patch that rivals all past patches. Imagine items like 4 socket valor or a souped up .08 valk helm. It would be glorious.
