I played through all the server issues but I find that it is time to take a break till ladder and hoping that they add some content.
I already rolled a perfect grief, did ubers, rolled hoto, CTA etc. I MF’d to a point where I have pretty much got everything for my sorc except for cold GCs.
There really is just not much else left for me to do. Maybe because I played this for 20+ years and played all the mods, but I was hoping they would add something, even if it was finishing the rest of Act 4.
Hoping they add some goodies for the ladder launch, whenever that may be. Elden Ring is just around the corner and Lost Ark will launch next year too. Anybody else in the same boat?
I played all of them. I went as far as making a horker. Everyone has a torch too.
I think at the end of the day I was expecting more content but maybe that will be for ladder. Also, using JSP really just makes it so easy to get gg gear. You can literally buy torches now for any class other than Sorc and Pally for 100 FG.
I think the mods made things more interesting by introducing new items, maps, and slamming items. In D2R you get a tals armor and that’s it. in PoD you get tals and slam it hoping for 4 OS. So it adds that extra gratification when you get a 4os tals.
We will see but I hope that they add some interesting things in the ladder.
So your definition of winning was to complete everything as fast as possible and now you suffer from a kind of “burnout” - well, take it slow next time?
Well, I think its the fact that I did all of the content available. It is not hard to get a toon up to 85 in a few hours. My view of end game is getting high end RWs and being able to farm torches with no issue.
Again, for myself, I was expecting some more content like finishing up A4 or adding another difficulty.
I think maybe you should have slowed down a bit lol. But I feel ya.
I don’t know about you but many people also gear up for other characters and builds too. And then gear up for pvp. Those pvp gear can be very expensive.
The real endgame after you are done MF’ing for general items is finding those perfect charms and GG rare/magic items that can cost way more than any HRs.
But if those aren’t your thing, I guess you won the game!
This is also why the people asking for drop rarity to be reduced don’t know what they’re asking for. The moment you have everything you want, the game gets old. The point is the chase.
This is also why 3-month ladders will probably be just fine. If ladder ever happens…
Ladders will hopefully come about eventually. Couple that with Blizz (again ‘hopefully’) giving some love to lobby and chat functions could give you an incentive to stick with it
Either you have been playing 12 hours a day min, since launch… or you are blowing things out of proportion to call the game, boring.
I have a very hard time believing you have done all of that, all character classes, full gear, achieved every reasonable goal, in under 2 months… you have some crazy good luck to equip all of those characters as well.
With all of the server issues, lack of an efficient public game list, leveling has been quite hard or just got levels via mf…
Have you been doing private, 8 man games, or what?
But honestly, if you have done it all, are burnt out, perhaps it is time to move on to another game.
You did not play other chars…you played a sorc and simply put gear found by her on rushed characters. You didnt really “play them”.
Unlike 99% of people taking the easy way out and rolling sorcs and pallies I rolled a bowazon and im still having a blast…halfway to lvl 96
Then again I have a life and am very busy with my business and whatnot (mid 30s) so I cherish being able to play even 2 hours a day sometimes.
Sounds like you have too much free time above all else.
So don’t use JSP? Play offline hardcore solo self found? Don’t feel bad for being burnt out after playing a game for 20 years? Play another game and or wait for D4?
Blizzard did polls and hinted at seasonal ladder content coming. But who knows when or if it will actually happen.
There’s a point where the game is just finished. I don’t know why you were expecting more content when it was said repeatedly that there wasn’t any (at least at launch). You no-lifed the hell out of a game that doesn’t have much content to begin with and either luck-sacked everything you wanted or bought is on JSP.
