well considering that d2 itself was not a console game in the first place its got a lot of work for it since its a computer game and its probably the console compatibility thats causing all the problems for everyone.
It’s funny how they market availability on all platforms but don’t invest in systems to connect them. It’s almost as if this company is not deserving of our money.
Don’t know what you are on about, when you work you sit on a crappy chair or somthing? that’s a you problem, having a comfy chair is PC gaming 101.
Theres nothing to shuffle, just plug the damn controller and play, EZPZ.
That said if you rather play on console that’s fine but the hunchback excuse is a tired one, we’re not playing on 17 inches screen on a small desk sitting on a plastic chair anymore, time to get into 2021, it has almost ended by now.
daddy put his foot downs. do it bliizz or you gonna get a timeout!!
But being serious it sounds like yet another player who simply wants the game to work like it is suppose to work. And it really doesnt seem like all that much to ask from a company the size of blizz.
Unfortunately all you can do it hope that they fix the myriad of issues plaguing this otherwise great game.
EDIT: D2R client crashed when i alt tabbed to peek at forums >_<
I have triple monitors on my Desktop: dual 32 inches and a 65 Inch 4K OLED LG TV.
I never used the 65 inch TV for gaming… maybe once when I did Mythic+15 on WoW. But I died and went back using one of the 32 inch Monitor. And never did it again.
Oh I also tried GTA V on the TV. I loved using the controller for the car race. But I hate shooting guns with a controller. So I went back to keyboard and mouse and went for smaller monitors when playing GTA V. But I recorded some games. Replaying the video on 65 inch 4K TV is awesome.
So my 65 inch is more of watching replays and videos but not for gaming.
Now with D2R. I never thought of playing it on a 65 inch TV. Let me do that.
Honestly, comparing my playtime of d2r and similar priced games that I own, I already get my money worth.
I cleared hell all on my own as a fresh account, bartered to endgame pvm gear, got a few specialized alts.
I already got my nostalgia satisfied and I can pretty much stop playing right now and come back later. I don’t think you have to keep playing if you don’t want to.
Btw, I think you can play on PC with a console controller, just cast it on the big screen and play with a controller, I guess.
I think it was a mistake to ever try to make a version of D2 for consoles.
It has been nothing but problems. headaches, and unsatisfactory compromises.
Why can’t people leave something good alone?
They should cancel the console ports and refund everybody’s money.
They can’t make it work, and it will get worse and worse the harder they try.
