In the whimsical world of the Diablo II: Resurrected forums, there existed a notorious troll who, like a mischievous chameleon, changed names to evade the consequences of their antics. Originally known as Sekscalibure, this trickster reveled in sowing chaos and confusion among the unsuspecting community.

As Sekscalibure’s trolling exploits became increasingly legendary, the forum members united in laughter and frustration. Undeterred by the ridicule, Sekscalibure executed a daring vanishing act, reemerging under the guise of Anu, the ancient deity. This mystical transformation, however, failed to conceal the unmistakable trail of chaos left in their wake.

As Anu, the forum troll continued their shenanigans, weaving intricate webs of misinformation and absurdity. The community, ever watchful, quickly identified the ruse and unmasked the trickster once more. Undeterred, Sekscalibure underwent yet another metamorphosis, emerging as Omnipwn, a name that seemed to mock both their opponents and their own trolling prowess.

Omnipwn’s antics reached new heights of absurdity, with forum members alternating between exasperation and amusement. They danced on the thin line between frustration and appreciation for the sheer audacity of the trolling spectacle. However, the community, armed with a collective sense of humor, began to play along, engaging in a virtual game of cat and mouse with the ever-changing Omnipwn.

As the legend of Omnipwn unfolded, the forum became a stage for a comedic performance where the lines between genuine discussion and playful banter blurred. The once-infamous Sekscalibure had succeeded in transforming their online persona into a symbol of amusement, leaving the community both perplexed and entertained.

In the end, the tale of the Diablo II: Resurrected forum troll, from Sekscalibure to Anu and finally Omnipwn, became a testament to the resilient spirit of online mischief. The community, armed with laughter and a touch of good-natured trolling of their own, turned the tables on the trickster, creating a unique chapter in the digital folklore of the Diablo realm.

Bravo. Too bad it’s a ultimately a waste of storytelling talent on such a buffoon.

What new things do you expect in a 24 year old game that was completely min-maxed in 2002? Just curious here.

It’s the same noskill one-button clicker and a few fatties and neets trading on jsp and fighting over ladder ranks (which is what their entire existence revolves around).

There’s no normal person left playing this, at least not online.

Blizzard destroyed the “balance” with Mosaic runeword.
Assa can now clear players1000 games with ease.

D2 was never balanced though. And since u can only do players1 online unless u hijack games it doesnt rly matter much that some builds can clear players 100.

There could be all sorts of new things as d2 is a classic by itself. But i was just asking about the state of the game. If it was min maxed or not its irrelevant for my question isn’t it? Go express hate somewhere else.

The game itself is the same as a year ago. That is to say, very good.

The multiplayer meta is described quite well by Odin in this thread here:
