This happens with my Azurewrath but only seems to happen in town so I never worried too much.
You can definitely have more than one aura active at a time in LOD if granted by items. I haven’t tried it in D2R yet.

What I mean is two auras of the same type will take turns alternating. Perhaps I should have been more clear.
This is the only reason I have not made a Dreamerdin
I have one and it does hapoen on occasion where it will split second disable the lvl 30 aura stack. Im convinced its based on item pickup though in some way and doesnt affect 99% of the time
That’s purely visual though. In D2R the auras are literally turning on and off. See the issue?
Whatever, they fixed EBug, right? O,o
My comment was in regards to two of the same auras. They will continually turn on and off trying to overwrite each other unfortunately. None of this effects any of my current d2r characters but hopefully they fix it for you guys.
I just was ias bug fixed/wsg back personally but that’s just me since I mainly pvp at end game.
I got dragon, no different auras and on my amazon it all the time pops up, its really annoying sound and it switches off damage all the time too, 2 sec on 2 sec off. Its really pissing me off.
This is not how auras are supposed to work in d2. It should stay active the entire time. Even with just one aura from edge it continues to reactivate every few seconds.
Auras no longer alternate, they show all at once. Neat thing that. Also if you have two sources of the same aura, IE 2 dream items, they do in fact stack. You should have level 30 holy shock with them.
This is not true for items that give you auras. It is ONLY true for the paladin’s own aura.
Aura items in d2r are buggy as hell.
I personally notice it a lot with edge runeword, though I have had a harmony bow that keeps vigor on constantly and people above were complaining about that weapon doing it.
Who knows what might be causing it.
At least they fixed the bug that was considered a feature. What a waste of time that was…
They couldn’t handle all the naked bare chest barbarians running around in game .
this is false. original D2:LoD very much allowed you to stack auras. you could have 8 paladins in a group, each running a different aura, with 8 act 2 mercs each using a different aura, each equipped with different aura granting gear, and have the effects of all those auras, without all the switching back and forth.
there is no “you can’t have multiple auras on” within the game. this is a bug. a paladin can only generate one aura with a skill, but they can generate multiple auras with their gear.
