Made new char and tried to play–error stated above. Both in Play and in public games. No idea of issue this time. Had been playing a different char for 2-3 hours, took a break and came back. Game server issue. SIGH

Same for me. Create a character, leveled to 9 with no problem. Closed game. Went away for a few. Opened game back. Got the error.
Error message : “Failed to create game. There was an issue with the game server. Please try again.”
Edit: My character is also not flagged as Ladder anymore.

Same thing for me right now. Is this something where I have to actively pursue Blizz fixing my char, or are they working on a programmatic fix?
