Of course its you again, biggest troll on forums. And as always, you have no clue what you talk about. Its not a fix or feature to prevent chicken. You talk about something different which was present even in old times. You could sometimes die with chicken because there is still some small delay after you hit save and exit vs your char leaving the game. You simply také deadly hit in that small time frame.
Please dont spread that nonsense about fix. There is nothing like that. I just left multiple games literary very close to death and had nothing like op had. Its obviously issue which should be fixed.
Hard for me to believe something like this was done intentionally. Everything outside of graphics on this game has been done half assed and rushed out the door. There was no polish phase done on this game. That was made clear as day in the last 6 months.
Best to TP to town before exiting the game. I really hope Blizzard imports D3’s TP safety system to D2R its sooo good. So, the way it works is that if you TP to any open world area either via TP or WP, as long as you stand still and you don’t use or have any active skills, your character is invincible for a brief period of time. Its sucks for me because I have very long loading screen times and often times my character dies while I wait to load the map in uber Tristram or Frigid highlands.
I have to agree with Kandrax, better to wait and see what the most common bugs are before testing the waters, unless you have time to kill and are an adrenalin junkie like me
I seem to be getting this several times an hour when i do baalruns - i leave the game same as everyone else, yet my char is stuck in the world and i get “failed to join game” for up to a minute, often making me miss the next runt when the game becomes full before I can join again. Anyone else experiencing something similar, or what the cause could be?
Misscheetah. With all my respect you have to stop saying this nonsense. It makes absolutely zero sense. Who are you trying to appease or defend? Reading this nonsense is doing the opposing effect . People come to the forum to express their sentiment and you are simply make them quit or increase their discontentment. There are problems :
You are not familiar with d2 because escaping/alt f4 is instant. Disconnection in Diablo2 original is 8 seconds. Eight. It is 40seconds+ in D2R which makes destroys solo hc.
You are a d3 player, fine. But it’s a game that made so few things right so just STOP. Stop setting d3 server mechanics as international standard.
I guess I will get insults but I am all in for a delay when we leave a game. It is way too easy to make a macro for instant exit and bind it.
Personally I play hc till death, if I am stuck between packs I never try to exit with esc +quit or a macro. First rule of hc for me is being in town if you leave the game.it doesn’t take that much time to cast a tp and take it. Whatever it is intended or not I am in.
Other nonsense. Esc exit/ alt f4 is instant. You don’t need a macro whatsoever. In hc we often die in a less than a second, 2 or 3.
8 seconds to disconnect makes perfect sense and only prevents to die against 1 white mob (which is a situation where nobody dies without lag, and covers 95% of disconnect situations) This has nothing to do with avoiding death. Nothing to do with intentionally leaving the game.
Did you played D2 original? It has been reduced to 8 seconds precisely because Blizzard thought it was too long.
I did play d2 original and I don’t agree with you. Sorry, I just don’t, what makes no sense for you , has sense for me whatever you agree or not. I am in for the impossibility to esc Quit instantly and whatever this is a bug or not I hope it will stay like this.
Ppl like you makes me smile, you know, In life sometimes ppl don’t share your opinions on things, and it’s a right. For me the possibility to esc quit the game ruins it, you don’t agree, that’s your right, still I hope it will remain.
I would agree with this thinking, however, it is precisely how HC was played 22 years ago, and I suppose also today. There must have been an “addon” like a big red panic button.
You clearly don’t know how the game has been working for 20 years. And like others you give lectures about supposedly knowing the game for a long time.
