If you create a game and it already exists, you get the “already exists” error. After that, you’re unable to create any game at all until you return to the character selection screen and enter/leave a game from there before trying again in lobby.
After that, you can create games again on Bnet. But attempting to create a game that already exists first will throw you into a loop of “Make sure you’re connected to the internet” errors.
