Crashes with error after pressing play is it ever going to be fixed or did I pre-order for well nothing ?
Hey give this a shot, it helped me get past the launch crash.
Go to your installation folder and create a new text file and name it “Launch In Windowed.bat”. Make sure you have extensions showing in Windows so that it actually changes the file type to a batch file. Once that’s done, right click and edit the batch file and type:
Game.exe -w
Save the file, then launch it. This will force the game to launch in windowed mode, which seems to get by the crash. Once you’ve actually launched the game, you can hit alt+Enter to go back to full screen.

I tried your solution! Sadly it still crashes after the loading screen. Well at least I got to play it for a little bit today. Pretty disappointed though!
Getting the same issue but no error code or anything. launching a game with a new character causes the title to crash. trying to verify file integrity, could also be an issue with graphic drivers.
Been trying all day with no avail. cinematics come in black and start lagging and freezing, Getting unknown error. Trying everything i can on the forums to skip the cinematics straight to bnet and its just not budging.

Blizzard ain’t good for nothing and more then likely won’t even fix this for the ones who pre-ordered just to play beta what a sham just best just work sept cause this is ridiculous
Crashed all the time when I had dual monitors. I turned off dual monitors and run in windowed mode and it seems to work for me. Sux but…
i pre ordered back in march i hope it works and they optimise and patch up soon 
I play with dual monitor in fullscreen, that’s a weird issues
Been trying to log in for several days, unknown error, game crashes as soon as I click play.
Was hoping they would fix this, pre-ordered to try beta and can’t even get to the game menu.
Are you (Blizzard) going to fix this before beta ends??
