Gamble bug not showing it takes gold from chest

Hi I’m new to diablo 2 ressurected and right after completing the First chapter i decided to gamble, i had all my 70000 gold in the chest and a few in my character’s inventory so I bought a shield then my gold was 0 i tried to buy another and it worked despite i had 0 on my character, i kept buying until the window said that i had insufficient founds. So i tried looking in my chest and all my money was gone. When gambling there was no indication that my gold was being taken from the chest otherwise i wouldn’t gamble. Please give my gold back and fix the mechanics

Nice try but no way.

When interacting with shops you are always shown how many gold you have in your chest below the merchant’s item display.

The gold you got on your character is shown under your inventory.

Nice try?? You gotta be kidding me. I’m sincere about this , it doesn’t show, look again…

What @DrDisaster is telling you is correct, as you can see in the image below:

Sorry:

“Items” include Gold.

This is NOT a bug. There is nothing to fix.

Tip:

  • D2:R only “sees” Gold that is in your Inventory and your Personal Stash.
  • All Gold stored in your Shared Stashes is protected. (Vendors don’t see it and if your SC Characters die, it won’t be used in the penalties).

In your case, I’m guessing that you were watching the Gold amount in your Inventory while you were Gambling. But, when it reached 0 you did not watch the Gold you had in your Personal Stash, listed at the bottom of the Vendor’s Inventory.

Tip 2:

From now on, store all your Gold in your Shared Stashes. Then, the game won’t use it…   for anything.

When you’re ready to Buy or Gamble, Withdraw only the maximum amount you want to spend. When it reaches 0 you will not be able to spend more. But, only if you DO NOT have any Gold in your Personal Stash.
