I like the idea of similar areas offering an interesting gameplay loop, something that doesn’t break the economy.

I think there will be nothing new. There are runewords that can only be used in in Ladder so this is probably what that person was reffering to.

No there is no runewords that are exclusive to ladder.

thats incorrect. What he is saying is Blizzard plans on introducing new items and monsters to ladder seasons.

To what I say:

  1. Who cares? Get the thing working as intended first before making “promises”
  2. Bad idea. Single player on consoles is already only half the experience compared to PC single player.

Introducing now ladder only stuff won’t be an issue for PC players who can easily use mods to get the same content non-ladder (i. e. Single player). Console players can go cry in the corner again?
