I think it made a big difference, many more uniques now.
It didn’t, but I’m happy you feel that way.
Yes MF works well. It’s a beautiful system. I’ve noticed a significant improvement going to 700% mf on my PitZerker barb.
You can check the exact difference for any drop from any mob at any MF on the drop calculators. Maxroll has one but it puts some numbers in a different format that makes it harder to compare. https://dropcalc.silospen.com/item.php
is another one.
For example, on 1 players at 270 MF your chances of getting a unique Shako from Andariel are 1 in 794. At 320 MF, 1 in 758. At 700 MF 1 in 640.
In an 8 player game you get a 1 in 453 chance at 270 MF (significantly beating out even much higher MF values in a 1 player game). At 320 MF in 8 players, 1 in 433.
So what you’re saying is…
More MF is better.
What a concept.
Just don’t sacrifice kill speed for MF. Stack until your kill speed suffers, then stop stacking.
now i know you’re going to think it’s weird, but today i put a 40% chance guards on my necro (424% total) and left the game on afk while i went to the store for some chocolate milk, and BAM there it was, 2 for the price of one Swedish fish.
IT WORKS, TRUST ME, LEAVE YOUR MF CHARACTER AFK WHEN YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE.
Thats so not where I expected that story to go…
