Preordered the game, and I am having similar problem from day 1.
The Problem:
I cannot stay connected in a game for long, usually 5-30 mins, I’ll get a “your connection is interupted” or “can’t connect to server” message and get kicked out of the game losing quest progress. It happens no matter which server I was connected, same thing on all 3.
I have been playing daily since launch, I was patiently waiting for a update or fix until I see a post with Blizzard staff states that this is a minority problem… and we have to fix it ourselves, Blizzard will not address this since “not many people are reporting this”.
I went through the troubleshooting suggestions and I don’t think there is anything wrong on my part, PC with a wired connection to an ASUS AX86u router, 500Mbps fiber WAN connection. All other internet activity works flawlessly including other online games.
D2R is up to date and scan process cannot locate any problem.
This is getting really frustrating for me.
Just to add some information for Tech Supports:
- HW: Windows 10 intel 11th gen chip, NVIDIA 1650s, Killer E2600 Gigabit network card.
- During late night playing time (pass midnight) it usually last longer between interuptions. I thought it was because less load on the server since not as many people are not playing.
- Tried to use wireless connection, even tried to use hotspot from my iphone, make no difference.
