Just saw someone doing key runes in a game he created to fool players to join his game and farm, it’s genius when you think about it, but I told them what he did and they left 
I was doing the same thing making “Free Shako” and Ber 4 Shaco games lol. Really speeds up farming.

I joined one NM “free garbage” game, someone was already there for a few minutes, there was a bunch of crap on the ground. A few people joined and picked up some stuff. I added to the pile and left.
Mostly stuff I was using when I first started that I could easily create again, like BP Stealth, Leaf (+3 fire bolt base) and some other garbage. Dropped a few mid-high level garbage items as well that I’ve found since reaching Hell.
Gotta keep that space cleared for better drops!
Using that to trick people into joining is kind of mean. 
Back in the day I would create those games and would drop a dozen items I had collected from solo farming. Then I would tell folks if they hung out while I killed the dudes in that game I would give out my excess. It was a win win. No scam involved. They would get yellows and the occasional unique.

Quite an old and common trick, free item games, Baal Runs, Chaos Runs and probably more, they can be real or they can be to lure in player.
Right, I’m reading these replies like 
Step 1: Create game “Free 4 wait”
Step 2: Wait for people to join
Step 3: Drop all the UNID uniques in town
Every individual varies but but it’s the same with Chaos runs. Expect the High Runes to be taken and anything of very high value like a Shako or a HoZ but everything else that we’re sick of picking up and vendoring like Gheeds, Chancies, Goldwraps, Tal belts, and all kinds of other junk that people may want but I cba to sit in a lobby like “Tstrokes 4 runes” are usually thrown on the ground.
Its great for players starting out and I’m expecting to see it a lot on ladder launch.
Personally I’m starting to feel bad for throwing out the stuff I dont want but know people need but I’m not about to fill my stash with junk like amazon/sin/druid gear unless its worth trading for something high quality.
