Alright so with this new update coming out I’m all for buffing other class builds as long as it doesn’t nerf any old builds. What is not cool is forcing us to do all of Act 3 if we don’t want to. In the notes it says they will make us need to smash the compelling orb this can’t be done without all the body parts and flail. As it stands right now IF someone wants to do the entirety of act 3 they have that option. As long as someone has the waypoints all you have to do is the Council and Meph. PLEASE don’t change this it really makes no sense after 20 years.

Do u mean if some one join your game and open portal to mef and kill him for you its not a valid quest anymore? This sucks.
… it’s literally part of the game lol. You realize any other game these days would NOT let you skip the entire Act… right? We’ve just been spoiled into being able to do it for 20 years.
Playing on Xbox this time, I’ve honestly had to do it “legit” every time since the lobbies are so dead, if anything this will make them for Act 3 fuller, as people will WANT others to run with now that we have to do it.
It’s no different than having to craft the staff in Act 2 and kill the Summoner. With Act 4 being so short, I really don’t mind this change.
Plus, new LVL 85 area’s to farm as a compromise, I’m all game for that!

I think you just like to insult and make assumptions about people when OP is just trying to save some time.
Act 3 is a drag, the map sucks to navigate, especially in normal, and a lot of people have beaten Diablo II hundreds of times.
This really isnt a welcome change. This isn’t like I’m missing some big story moment by taking a shortcut lol. I don’t play Diablo for the “story”
If blizz is so concerned with me missing story elements why don’t they force me to watch every cutscene and listen to all the dialogue too?

I like to challenge what people do and if what they do makes sense.
Today, this day, I say it’s a waste of time to mask ones true ideas to garner more support because it may be un-liked.
I never said you can’t be lazy. Nor did I say it was wrong to charge to rush people.
I question when people say we and dance around what they really mean.
It’s brash and expressive because it catches the eye. I only enjoy the positive results… even though they often take longer to bubble to the surface.

You do it anyway without a rush, or another account to get you into the place to fight meph, now the mage or person with enigma rushing you has to go to two more areas. It is a bit of a inconvenience but not all that bad. Takes about 2 minutes top of rush time assuming they are fast.

BLIZZARD want to show act 3 story to players.
Players to be rushed are waiting in the town. Person to see ACT3 repeatedly will be the person who gives rush.
We’ve seen ACT3 too many times already. Who came up with this unnecessary change?

Lol I’m not someone who charges people to rush and I do a lot of work thank you very much. As stated the option is there for people that want to go through the entirety of Act 3 for those that don’t that option is available as well. I’ve played this game since the very first release not just resurrected. Lol after 20 years of being used to something a game was like is being spoiled ok I think you need to learn what that definition means before using it. Anyways option is there now point is PLEASE DON"T CHANGE THIS over a couple of TROLLS saying it’s fine.
ACT1 - one quest (Andy) and act is done
ACT2 - staff + amulet, arcane, duriel
ACT3 - Travincal + Mephisto
ACT4 - one quest (Diablo) and act is done
ACT5 - ancients + Baal
Why make only Act3 more difficult to rush ?
Just not a little bit more work.
Yeah so have thousands of other people. Myself included.
To balance the speed at which a person being rushed and one playing alone moves through Act 3 in the Ladder.
How do you have the will power to play as much as you claim and can’t handle a tiny increase in play time?
If we are to believe you don’t rush. If we are to believe you’re not lazy. What is your reasoning why this subject is worth making a thread?

This will be the third time I’m telling YOU that as it stands IF someone wants to do the entirety of Act 3 they can. Hey if they don’t want to and have the way points or know someone who has them then they can skip it. Btw don’t believe you have played as long as I have OR you would feel the same way. Go to some other thread to troll.
Why is it a bad idea?
Never even showed signs of confusion on this idea. Think of reasons why a developer would remove the option to skip a part of the game.
Think you let everyone know what’s really going on. I am thinking. You’re feeling.

So after looking through some of Coffinbirth’s other posts I have decided they are nothing more than a cyber bully. They do nothing but go to other posts and attack them so this being said I have ignored them let them waste their breath. Now that’s out of the way to finish what this post was really about it’s about having an option taken away that’s been there for 20 years. If you want to take the long way around you can if you want to rush through you can but NOT if they change it with the next patch there will only be one way to play it.

Edit: I also find it incredible that you want to save yourself a tiny amount of time while being rushed or rushing someone else. So badly that you won’t say it plainly. That would jeopradize your plea to “The Devs” and everyone in this forum you want to bamboozle to stop a fix they may decide to implement for good reasons you don’t give a flying fiddle to understand. Just incredible.
