Force Move must be a button to put on left click

Awesome to see big patch notes but I can already see Force Move is not what I was expecting. It is only available to bind it to key but there is no Force Move button to put on left click. That’s how it should be and works like that in d2 mods and PoE.

Also it should still allow to interact with object/npc and pick up loot. Just avoid attacking enemies. For now it works like in D3 but everyone hates it out there and asked devs to be able to put it on left click for ages.

Gotta keep some of that clunkiness

The implementation definitely seems clunky, it isn’t what I personally expected.

It should just be a tickable option in Gameplay, that when selected changes your movement to override regular LMB movement for Force Move LMB.

I’ve also noticed that if you have Quick Cast enabled with a Paladin and are moving when you swap auras, it immediately cancels all movement and you just stop at the next available tile in your path.

You can work around it by swapping and then immediately clicking afterward to resume movement, but it’s janky at best and does not make gameplay feel smooth on certain classes (where as on others, like Sorc, it smoothes their gameplay out considerably).

Time for a AHK script to spam the forcemove button

Each skill slot should have an option to be assigned to
Quick cast key 1-14
or
Skill button 1 (Hotkey 1-14)
or
Skill button 2 (Hotkey 1-14)

…where only auras are defaulted to Skill button 2.

I have a barbarian.
I want left click to be attack. And move. Because he moves to attack.
I want to swap the left skill button between offensive melee skills with shortcuts.

I want to only quick-cast shouts.

…but I’ve yet to figure out how to assign some skills to be quick cast and others shortcuts to be assigned a mouse button normally, if even possible.

…apparently, we have to pick the lesser of two evils.
And right now, for each character, that is not having quick cast – because I only want buffs quick-cast.

Noticed the same thing…

Would be great to be able to put Force Move onto the left mouse click.

Eh no ppl dont hate it there. Havnt seen anyone complain about it. Its not everyone thats for sure

I’d actually prefer D3 style. Assign mouse scroll up to primary and scroll down to secondary. Benefit. But yeah, current implementation is clunky.

Yeah, same thing for Paladin. I bind some keys to change the offensive attacks on my left click, others to change auras on my right click (although you don’t click when it’s an aura, obviously), and I thought it would be cool that I could use quick cast to refresh Holy Shield. NOPE! As soon as Quick Cast is enabled, I can’t switch offensive attacks. It just “casts” the attack and leaves my left click stuck where it was. Who designed this? Even a Junior League Dev should’ve seen THIS one coming. Yeesh.

It seems Blizzard can’t do anything if it’s not completely half-assed anymore.

You can use Throw Weapon as your left click bind as a Force Move, assuming you aren’t using a throwing weapon of course.
