I do have issues seeing uniques, played with my settings and my tv but can’t really get them to pop out more. It would be nice if Blizzard incorporated optional loot filters in the future.

me three, im over 50 and my eyes arent like they were even 10 years ago but its near impossible to tell a difference even after i identify the item (since im a newbie) i dont even know if the is a unique until i google the name of the item

would be nice if it was any stand out color like purple, red, orange, teal

Has anyone tried toggling color blind mode?

I have installed ps4 and ps5 version and on ps4 all fonts are thinner and less crisp, hell everything is slightly blurry but the text is more noticable. On ps5 version all tex is easier to read. But try color blind option maybe this will help.

Nope, I can see between unique and rare. My problem is when the background colors shade a plain white item to look like it is a unique and I waste time picking it up to check it, just to toss it back on the ground.

I mentioned this before that they look the same on Xbox. I have the large text turned on as well but color difference is a problem. They need to brighten up the rares yellow…the uniques look as they should IMO.

I’m color-blind, I’ve tried to mess with colorblind mode, I’ve used all three modes in different magnitudes and these still look almost the same as white.

i just tried toggling colorblind mode and oh my goodness, im sorry for the people that are color blind, those colors are horrible. It makes my tv look like an old 1975 tube rca tv with foil on top of rabbit ears… so awful, but i even looked at the unique and gold they looked the same plus the magic items (blue) now look (white)… actually pretty much all items look “white” except for the grey item looked grey.

Those modes are to make it so that the colors look like they should to a color-blind person. To someone who isn’t colorblind they would look atrocious. Color blind people’s eyes perceive colors differently than others.

Thank you, Im oldtime PC gamer and The tv setting never crossed my mind… so i went to tv settings and it actually got alot better! Thanks!

I can tell it’s a unique … just …

It’s hard to tell sometimes next to regular whites and I’ve almost missed picking them up because of this.

Like someone above said, red or purple would be better. Or at least a more pronounced gold.

You’re an effing genius, I’m sure absolutely nobody thought of that… it clearly doesn’t help or people wouldn’t be here posting about this.

Same here but it is more confusing between unique and white for me. I can distinguish rare items but not uniques. Tired to play a lot with my samsung TV colors but doesn’t make much difference. it’s very easy to miss unique items while farming.

yes makes it even harder for me. not color blind.

Maybe if it had a sparkle to it like some chests.

I had to pull the computer chair over to my tv while sitting 1 foot from it. I thought I was just getting old because I can’t see the difference

Switch user here. What’s strange is, on the switch itself, it’s as clear as day. But as soon as I move to my TV, it is very difficult. I’ve also tried messing with the color settings on the television to some success, but the coloring looks really wacky for everything else.

Not sure if this evidence can help someone pinpoint a solution.
