Would you like to see variations of this runeword? Like Flickering Light or Flickering Bite (for cold) etc.
I really like this runeword and would love to see custom variations on it with different runes.

I mean…I think the idea was to fill the fire gap in helms. The flickering light is already represented by Griffons…flickering cold is already represented by Nightwings. So no, I’d rather see newer runewords to fill in different gear gaps
I get that, but Griffons are quite rare, most players will never find one. Also, Griffons offers different benefits.
Also, with the introduction of TZ, I think Blizzard should add what the item’s level are. A nice QOL addition.
Also why not make Diablo the Lord of Terror unlock TZ?
I mean, I found 2 griffons in two days and I wasn’t even really playing much/trying to find em. They’re rare yes but not like impossible to find or anything, especially if you’re trying to find one. And that’s good it offers different benefits, who wants a homogenized game where every item does the same thing and every element does the same damages and every skill has the same radius and effect and etc? Different is good, not bad. Differences are desirable.
I don’t really mind having ilvl on items tho. Or having Diablo unlock terror zones. But neither of those really matter, either. There are a dozen+ other things I’d rather have them work on before they get down to that inconsequential stuff.

20 years ago I was farming like an idiot. never found one.
I have to agree with Orcinus SuperCuddles. You saying you found 2 Griffons in two days with little playing time sounds like you are implying that they are super easy to find and that everyone else should be able to find them in just two days of farming. To me and possibly others it sounds like you are bragging about your luck…
I like the idea of offering similar, but customizable runewords much like Bone, Myth or peace that guarantees + to skills to your class.
Griffons only cost a couple bucks. See in game add on where to buy them.
Wrong thread buddy
You just want easy compensation for sunder charms. It’s very obvious.
Odin, can you explain your logic? Not trying to be rude, I just don’t understand your thought process.
The aura compensates the -res of the charm and the -res on flickering flame just reduces the 95 res from broken immunity.
The timing of your suggestion just concludes that you want the same runewords to compensate the-res of the charms
OK I see where you are coming from now, however using most of the sundered grand charms will require a heavy investment of + to resists (to that specific element) from small charms.
The mechanic already exists, and some builds (fire sorc) can mitigate that negative effect quite well while receiving good bonuses. I think that being able to mitigate a negative effect is a good game mechanic.
It’s something a lot of people practice in daily life like eating unhealthy foods and then going to the gym to “undo” the bad habit
Like you said it is timing, but I always wanted this even before Sunder charms were introduced. I don’t think Sunder charms is the end game for fixing the current state of immunities though. I do believe there are better ways to add challenge to the game.
I mean it will be ok to have some bad resists on some classes, and there is always Treachery to fill in a heavy deficit in resists should some class be unplayable. Ranged has it a bit easier on this. Now the full end game builds. They will change a bit to make room thus the old meta may not be meta anymore. I dread figuring that out personally. Though I am 99% of the time not going to carry a build to that point of 100% optimized.
