Hello. A few hour agora i trying to make Flickering Flame runeword on my diadem on non-ladder server, and not working.
Blizzard says all non-ladder caracters after reset can make new runewords…
No, they said, that they will do that when NEW RWs are introduced in seasons. Since this didn’t happen in S2 all S1 RWs still don’t work in non-season. If you search, you’ll find a PezRadar post about the topic.
So what you’re sayin is on season 3 all non ladder that was playing ladder on season 2 can make the flickering flame in season 3 non ladder???
If they are true to their words, yes.
I do not understand it that way, and I doubt it can work that way technically. Not only the players who played ladder 2 will be able to build ladder 1 RW, when ladder 3 starts, but ALL in non ladder should be able to do so.
I hope and I believe it will work that way. I guess PezRadar said it. But there is a problem with it: one of the developers had said that rune words from ladder 1 would come to non ladder after ladder 1, and that did not happen.
You can call it misunderstanding, misinformation, or a lie; and maybe they decided differently when the ladder ran and they saw that they would not ne able to build a bunch of runewords for ladder 2. But the fact is that false information was spread, and therefore people have wasted their runes
WAIT until you get confirmation from the community before spending runes for expensive rune words (or build a cheap former ladder runeword for a test)
All ladder-only runewords, cube recipes and Sundering charms from ladder seasons 1 and 2 will be obtainable in both non-ladder and single player starting at the ladder reset time on Thursday 2/16/2023
